Pre-Med Undergrad at Saint Joseph's University majoring in Interdisciplinary Health. I currently carry a 3.5 GPA and will graduate in 2019. I graduated from Hammonton High School with a 3.8 GPA, alongside a four year streak of academic excellence awards.
Experience
I began tutoring during sophomore year of high school in a peer tutoring program, and continued until senior year. After discovering how much I enjoy helping students learn as well as the accompanying self-fulfilling feeling, I continued to accept job offers to tutor students k-12. During senior year and currently, I began tutoring as a job due to my success in volunteering. Because I was referred by many, I now work in the SJU tutoring center. I have taken a collective total of 12 Honors/AP classes throughout high school, and am attending SJU on an academic scholarship. Every subject I tutor in, I have taken a class in. The passion I have to tutor is solely driven by the feeling of accomplishment the student and I both feel when a new subject is mastered. Between working as a nanny for many years and always having jobs involving serving people, I enjoy interacting with children, teenagers, and adults of all ages. I have found tutoring to be one of the most productive, beneficial, and symbiotic jobs in countless ways for the student and I.

I am a charismatic and bubbly young lady that loves to begin new experiences and meet new people. I am young, active, and always on the go in order to accomplish as much as I can in a day. I handle my school work as well as job work with great delicacy, and would consider myself a bit of a perfectionist. I always want to put 100% into whatever task I am completing. I'm always looking forward to discovering and learning more, because I believe that our world is endlessly fascinating. My previous jobs have included secretarial work in a chiropractic office, serving at a restaurant, life guarding, babysitting, and of course, tutoring. As a matter of fact, tutoring and babysitting have always been my favored jobs compared to the others, due to the unique bonds I build. I feel as though I have a true knack for building relationships with children and helping them feel comfortable as well as connected. I am extremely excited to begin this new chapter as a frequent tutor and to continue over the summer. I would be delighted to meet with any parents or prospective employers before a tutoring session, as well as accept any phone calls or e-mails. I would also be happy to provide references and contact information of my previous / current employers and parents of students I previously tutored.
